During an average session you can take breaks for the kids to have snacks, rest or whatever it takes. Sometimes those candid photos turn out the best! I promise, photo sessions are never rushed and those memories are captured. Your photo session will be relaxed, fun and enjoyable for the whole family.
The best advice I can give you is to make sure you’re well rested on the day of your photo session (that goes for kiddos too!), eat something and stay well hydrated. Believe it or not, bad moods can show up in pictures! The better you feel, the better you’ll look.
When you arrive for the photo session, don’t be afraid to be yourself or act like kids. Bring a change of clothes in case your session ends up having a "messy" end. Ohhh the fun to be had!
Locations
Parks, gardens, historic/urban areas and your own backyard are all great locations for photos. If you do not have a location in mind when booking your photo session, I can recommend a few places and make sure we choose the perfect spot for you. OR I have a nice in-home studio that is perfect for the fine art sessions.
Clothing: Where to Start
Decide on a theme: Do you want to have dressy or traditional photos? Or do you want to capture your casual, playful, vintage or edgy style? Don’t forget, you can always bring a change of clothes. Layers are always a good idea (unless it’s 100 degrees) and provide a lot of interest and makes it easy to remove an article of clothing and have a totally different look. Hats, scarves, jackets, boots, etc. All accessories are welcome. Throw in something unique, I love unique.

In order to secure your date, a non-refundable retainer and a signed contract is due at the time of booking.
**Grow with me is handled based on the package you choose. Session fee's are a retainer for my time, so they are non-refundable, however, will be applied to a new date if rescheduling is needed due to weather or illness. (Limited to ONE reschedule)
