Q. What is the process of commissioning Jenni G Photography for my portrait session?

A. I am so thrilled that you are commissioning Jenni G Photography for a portrait session. In a simple phone consultation we will get to know each other as each of my sessions are always customized to each family. During this time we will determine if I am the right photographer for you as we go over your questions and discuss the services I offer. We can even sign the contract on the same day.

Q. How do payments work?

A. The nonrefundable retainer is due upon booking your portrait session. This will secure your time with me on my calendar. A payment plan for the remainder of the fee will be outlined in the contract that we agree upon. Sessions must be paid for in full before photographs are released. I accept all major credit cards, cash, checks and paypal.

*$25 NSF fee on any returned checks.

Q. What if I need to reschedule my session?

A. In the event that you need to reschedule your session, please give a 48 hour notice. There is a one time reschedule allowance. If you need to reschedule less then 48 hours from your session you automatically forfeit your retainer and a new retainer will be required to book again.

Q. What if I cancel my session all together?

A. I will refund the sitting fee (retainer) if cancellations are made at least 48 hours in advance. If cancellations are made less than 48 hours in advance, the session fee (retainer) is nonrefundable.

Q. Do you have a studio?

A. Yes. Right now it is in my home. I have a family/boudoir suite and a studio. Seems like I am always expanding my shooting area.

Q. Should I bring in props?

A. You are more then welcome to bring anything to your session, but I do have many items in my prop room!

Q. How far do you travel?

A. 45 miles from Bangor is covered, if your locations is further or you have multiple locations that you would like to shoot at, then a travel fee is applied based on distance and time.

Q. Do you enhance your photos?

A. Yes, the images you and I choose to keep will be individually enhanced, assuring the highest quality.

Q. How long after the session will it take before we see our images?

A. About one to two weeks following your session your images will be ready for viewing.

Q. After our session, what happens next?

A. Your reveal appointment will be scheduled as we finish our session. Most clients find this to be the most fun part of the experience. You will be presented with the fine art images in a slideshow set to music as I guide you in selecting the images that you can't live without, and then you order. It is important that anyone who wishes to be part of the decision making process is present. Please come prepared to make choices at this appointment.

Q. Will you work with my budget?

A. There are several packages and products to fit into most budgets. Often, a client will fall in love with a handful of images then realize they love more than they had expected. I take this as a sign that I have exceeded their expectations. I have many options for you to get all of the images you love including image boxes, digital negative, coffee table books, and so much more. I realize that custom portraiture is an investment and I am honored when clients choose me to create artwork for their family, Which will be heirlooms for generations to come.

Q. After my order has been placed, how long will it take to receive my products?

A. Quality art takes time. Several artisans will be helping to handcraft your images. Although I begin working on your order immediately to expedite the wait – as I know you will be excited - please allow 4-8 weeks for your complete order.


A. Purchased images are archived and available for re-order for one year. Un-ordered images will be removed from the system two weeks after your session.

Q. Do you sell the high resolution files?

A. You will receive all of your images as high resolution files, printable up to 11” x 14”. If you are interested in learning about the prints and products that I offer à la carte, we will schedule an in-person viewing and ordering appointment.

Q. What if I want to Use my photos for contests, advertising, or on social media?

A. For personal use, photographs taken by Jenni G photography should be clearly identified. Photographs that are not watermarked can be identified with a text credit to Jenni G Photography or by tagging Jenni G Photography if on social media.

You will receive a copy of the limited print reproduction release. This gives you the right to print the files as often as needed and to use the images however you’d like for personal needs. This may include scrap-booking, personal websites, social media, gifts for family and friends, etc.

All legal commercial rights are reserved by Jenni G photography. As such, photos may not be resold in their original or altered state, nor used for third-party business purposes, including but not limited to, all forms of advertising.
